As a teenager, Ezra discovered he was Force-sensitive after meeting former Jedi Padawan Kanan Jarrus and the Ghost Crew. He joined their Rebel crew and began learning the ways of the Force as Kanan’s pupil. The first saber Ezra constructed was a blue-bladed lightsaber-blaster hybrid that allowed him to engage in lightsaber combat as well as fire fights.
