Rey Lightsaber Replicas

Rey is a former scavenger from the harsh sands of Jakku who emerged as one of the most enigmatic and pivotal figures in the galaxy. From a young age, Rey lived on her own amidst the wreckage of past wars, learning to survive by scavenging through the remains of crashed starships. She was isolated for many years, hoping that her family, whom she scarcely remembered, would one day return for her.

Her destiny would dramatically shift upon encountering BB-8, a droid harboring a map to the last Jedi, Luke Skywalker. Drawn into the intensifying conflict between the Resistance and the First Order, Rey befriends defected stormtrooper Finn and veterans Han Solo and Chewbacca. As they embark on their mission to help the Resistance, Rey discovers her innate aptitude for the Force, hinting at a heritage much grander than she could ever anticipate.

In the coming days, Rey finds herself right in the center of the ongoing battle against Kylo Ren and the ruthless First Order. She comes into possession of the lightsaber formerly owned by Luke and Anakin Skywalker, which called out to her through the Force. After dueling Ren and helping the Resistance destroy Starkiller Base, she travels to Ahch-To where she finds an old Master Skywalker, living out his days as a recluse. He reluctantly agrees to train Rey, fearing that she will turn to the dark side like Kylo Ren, Luke’s nephew and former pupil.

As she begins her training with Luke Skywalker, Rey grapples with her past and destiny. She begins to form a connection with Kylo Ren through the Force, being able to communicate and see each other despite being worlds apart. She senses conflict in the man formerly known as Ben Solo, and goes out to confront him despite Skywalker’s warnings. Rey fails to turn Ren back to the light, as he proceeds to kill his master and declare himself the Supreme Leader of the First Order.

After reflecting on his time with Rey, Skywalker decides to get back into the fight. Using his mastery of the Force, Luke confronts Kylo Ren and his army, distracting his former apprentice so that the members of the Resistance can escape. This would prove to be Luke’s final act as a mortal, as he passed away and became one with the Force. His twin sister Leia Organa would assume the mantle as Rey’s master and finish her training.

As the war progresses, Rey continues to grow stronger as she trains with General Organa but her relationship with Kylo Ren becomes more complex. A power hungry Ren discovers that the evil Darth Sidious has returned, and becomes allied with him to take down the Resistance once and for all. Through Ren, Rey learns the terrible truth that she is a descendant of Palpatine and begins to question her identity. Ren also reveals that their unique connection to one another is caused by a dyad, meaning that the two of them were paired to become one with the Force.

Rey and Kylo Ren engage in what would be their final duel amongst the wreckage of the second Death Star. The young Jedi would strike a fatal blow on Ren, but decides to save his life by healing his wound with the Force. After speaking with the spirit of Luke, Rey travels to the Sith planet of Exegol to confront Darth Sidious. She is nearly swayed to the dark side by her grandfather but is saved by Ben Solo, who had renounced his dark alter ego.

The Force dyad stood together as allies against Sidious, but the evil Sith lord would quickly get the better of them. All hope seemed to be lost, until a weakened Rey called upon the previous generations of Jedi to help her. She heard the voices of many past Jedi, including the Skywalkers, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, Ahsoka Tano, Kanan Jarrus, and Adi Gallia. The past Jedi restore her strength and Rey defeats the Sith once and for all, but dies in the process. Just as Rey had saved his life, Solo pours his life force into her body and brings her back to life, sacrificing himself in the process.

With the Skywalker dynasty gone and Rey left standing as the last Jedi, she looked to the future. She traveled to Skywalker’s homeworld of Tatooine, where she laid Luke’s and Leia’s lightsabers to rest. Wielding her new yellow lightsaber, she begins her journey to rebuild the Jedi Order and continue the legacy of the Skywalker name.
